Jeremiah and Ashleigh Russell
As the new headmaster at JPII, Jeremiah, and his wife Ashleigh, will take to the dance floor as first time participants in Dancing with the Falcons. They are used to new adventures; however, having what some might consider a military-family level of moves in their twenty years of marriage.
Most recently, Jeremiah was the principal at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Anniston. Prior to that, he was an assistant professor at Jacksonville State University, which originally brought him to Alabama. Graduate studies placed them in cities ranging from Charlottesville, VA to Waco, TX. Of course, if you know them at all, you know they spent a good amount of time in Baton Rouge.
Ashleigh is a talented musician. She is currently the liturgy and music director at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs, GA, and has a piano studio of about thirty students. In her spare time, she homeschools their two children, Elizabeth and Catherine.
Since the couple is separated during the weekdays as they wait on their house to sell, they are looking forward to a fun, child-free evening together trying to raise funds for JPII.
